I just wanted to share with you that on a float down the Stanislaus River early in 2010 sparked an idea in our minds that if we are on the water so much why not create a fun and worthy cause to clean up our river and waterways... Our ideas were flying out left and right with smiles on our faces because we all knew this could really work.....On our journey down stream we noticed tons and tons of stuff that can be cleaned up and out.... Tires,cars,trash,old rafts,broken chairs,old barrels,and plenty of other stuff.... We could clean our home river the Stanislaus and dispose of the trash properly and separate trash from recyclables....Hoping in the future we can expand and grow to other rivers,beaches,ponds,lakes,canals,ect... Our goal is to be out cleaning our waterways many many times per season and make a real noticeable difference everywhere.....  Relive what the rivers and steams were like when you were a child..... When I look back even 15 years ago our water was awesome... Clean,clear, and refreshing.... |
